Compiling linBMD from Source

This page will give a very quick run down of the commands needed to compile linBMD on a Debian (in my case Ubuntu 14.10), but I will try to keep the commands reasonably generic.

Firstly we need to make sure git is installed:
sudo apt-get install git

Once git is installed we can download the source:
git clone
This command will create a directory called ‘linBMD’ in the current directory and pull the source from github.

This is all fine and well, but we also need to install a compiler:
sudo apt-get install fpc lazarus
fpc is the Free Pascal Compiler and lazarus is the development environment.

Now simply (hopefully) run the Lazarus IDE and load up linbmd.lpi from the downloaded source and compile.

Please let me know if you do make any changes.
